I am an artist and active participant in contemporary music performance and youth music education, motivated to bring people together—especially working musicians—and to support a healthy live music ecosystem that benefits future generations of artists. My work is rooted in Colorado’s music community, with a long-standing focus on Durango. For more than 15 years, I’ve been involved in cultivating the local music scene, including founding iAM MUSIC. Through that work, I’ve supported middle school, high school, and adult students with real-world, contemporary music education centered on creativity, artistry, and community.
Alongside education, I’ve been involved in producing iAM MUSIC Fest, a regional music gathering that reflects years of relationship-building among students, local professionals, and touring artists, spanning seven stages and more than 35 bands.
I’m also connected to the music scene along Colorado’s Front Range and recently helped produce the Boulder Roots Music Festival, which brings together over 180 bands across 17 stages during four days of performances.
