Tony Furtado returns to Durango

A master of banjo, slide guitar, and storytelling, Tony Furtado returns to Durango on February 26 for an intimate evening of roots-driven, genre-bending acoustic music. A familiar face to local audiences, Furtado’s performances are thoughtful, warm, and quietly adventurous — the kind that invite you to lean in and listen. Join us at the Durango Arts Center for a night of music that lingers long after the final note.

Twenty Years of Wonder at the Community Concert Hall

For two decades, State Street Ballet’s *Nutcracker* has been Durango’s unofficial start to the holiday season. This year, the Community Concert Hall celebrates the production’s 20th anniversary with a special fundraiser honoring the dancers, musicians, and local children who’ve brought this magic to life—especially since the San Juan Symphony and Durango Children’s Chorus joined the performance nine years ago, making it even more spectacular. I share a bit of my own Nutcracker story, too.
